Another drawing that was created simply for the visual pleasure of the elements of shape, light, and shadow.The shadows were drawn from life, the bird from a photo. The shadows of the great oak limbs allowed me to create two of my favorite things at once, trees and shadows.
I translated this drawing into an aluminum plate lithograph one summer in a class on lithography. It was my only succesful print with the method I believe!
